John Rhodes • Senior Principal
The greatest satisfaction that I receive from our consulting role is watching corporate and community clients achieve new levels of success as a result of our combined efforts. It also takes individuals that can develop an effective strategy with a plan and deliver it with clarity and enthusiasm.

John has been in economic development and site selection consulting for nearly 20 years as Senior Principal of Moran, Stahl & Boyer. He has engaged in numerous business location projects for corporate clients and organizations as well as economic development services for communities across North America.

John has helped companies and organizations gain a competitive advantage from a strategic location while providing the insight and direction to communities to build their economic portfolios. He has provided expert site location analysis, feasibility studies, incentive evaluations and other related services for clients such as Corning Incorporated, Blockbuster Video, FedEx, Prudential Financial Services, MacDermid Incorporated, American Fuji Seal, Pella Corporation, Merrill Lynch, National Grange Mutual (Main Street) and others.

He has also engaged in economic development projects that have included the development of long-term economic strategies, evaluation of resources and target industries, resource evaluations, site certification (including managing the site certification program for the State of Minnesota), labor market studies and marketing profiles for communities and regions within Delaware, Florida, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Texas along with the Canadian Provinces of British Columbia and Newfoundland/Labrador and other locations throughout North America.

John is a sought-after speaker that has made numerous presentations to CoreNet, IEDC, UEDC as well as state-wide and regional conferences throughout the U.S. and Canada. He has also authored a series of published articles related to economic development growth strategies, trends in global energy/green technology, commercialized university research, corporate headquarters relocation feasibility and U.S. innovation centers.

Other Professional Experience
Mr. Rhodes served as senior vice president of Prudential’s relocation consulting businesses in charge of site selection, relocation and community interaction consulting services. He also worked for General Electric (GE) in their Aerospace, Power Generation and Engineered Plastics businesses as well as Corporate Marketing during an 18-year career.

John has a BS in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and a Master of Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

Tom Hamer • Principal
With over twenty-five years of experience, Tom Hamer has been responsible for hundreds of location selection projects involving corporate operations for headquarters, customer service and support, sales, fulfillment, research and development, IT, distribution and manufacturing. Tom has worked for a wide range of industries including aerospace, automobile, electronics, finance, food processing, insurance semiconductor, and pharmaceutical. In addition to location selection, His areas of expertise include location strategy planning, labor analysis, real estate analysis, and incentive negotiations.

Mr. Hamer’s past clients include AIG, AT&T, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Caterpillar, Corning, Dow Chemical, Cheap Tickets, Federal Express, Georgia Pacific, John Hancock (Manulife), Kellogg USA, Kimberly-Clark, New York Life, Prudential, Sears Roebuck, Siemens, Texaco, and Toyota, and The United States Federal Reserve.

Tom has authored numerous articles on various aspects of site selection that have appeared in trade and industry publications and addressed the North Carolina legislature on incentive programs.

Charlie Galloway • Principal
Charlie Galloway is a principal in Moran, Stahl & Boyer with over 20 years of consulting experience related to corporate site selection and relocation. He joined MS&B as a principal in 1984 to head the firm's Group Move business line. In this capacity, he oversaw relocation projects for clients such as AT&T, Chase Manhattan Bank, H.J. Heinz Comp, New York Life, Colgate Palmolive, Coltec Industries, Columbia Energy, Pearson Publishing, Ohio Casualty, Dow Chemical, Atlanta Pharma, GreenPoint Bank, Lucent Technologies and many others.

Mr. Galloway teamed with Fortune Magazine to develop the famous "Best Places to do Business" annual issue that ran for eight years and fostered the many "Best" lists magazine issues so prevalent today.

Other Professional Experience
Charlie worked for American Express for 16 years and headed the company's worldwide network of over 1,000 licensed Travel Service offices. He served as a project materials expeditor for M.W. Kellogg for several major chemical processing plant construction projects.

Charlie received a BA in economics and psychology at Muhlenberg University in Allentown, PA.
