John Rhodes, MS&B Senior Principal (Lakewood Ranch, Florida)

John RhodesAs Senior Principal of Moran, Stahl & Boyer since 1993, Mr. Rhodes has directed numerous business location-related projects for company and organization clients as well as economic development assignments for communities across North America.

Mr. Rhodes has successfully completed location strategies, relocation feasibilities, location/site selection analyses, incentive evaluations, and other related services for clients such as Corning Incorporated, FedEx, Prudential Financial Services, MacDermid Incorporated, American Fuji Seal, Pella Corporation, Merrill Lynch, National Grange Mutual, and others.

He has also engaged in economic development projects that have included the development of long-term strategies, evaluation of resources and target industries, labor market studies, specific site assessments, and marketing profiles for communities in Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Texas, Florida, Newfoundland/Labrador, and other locations in North America.

Other Professional Experiences

Mr. Rhodes was formerly vice president of Prudential’s relocation consulting businesses in charge of site selection, relocation and policy, and community inter-action consulting services. Mr. Rhodes also worked for the General Electric Company in their Power Generation, Aerospace and Engineered Plastics businesses as well as for Corporate Marketing in roles including environmental/facilities engineering, marketing, and sales management during an 18-year career.

Presentations and Articles
Mr. Rhodes has written a series of articles and white papers related to community economic development growth strategies, high tech companies, university com-munities, labor resources, incentives, corporate headquarters, relocation feasibility, U.S. innovation centers and related topics. He has also made numerous presentations to CoreNet, IEDC, UEDC as well as state-wide and regional conferences throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Charlie Galloway, MS&B Principal (Kennebunk, Maine)

John RhodesMr. Galloway is a principal in Moran, Stahl & Boyer with over 20 years of consulting experience related to corporate site selection and relocation. He joined MS&B as a principal in 1984 to head the firm's Group Move business line. In this capacity he oversaw multiple relocation projects for clients such as AT&T, Hearst Magazines, Royal Insurance, Transamerica, Heinz, AAA, Chase Manhattan Bank, Blue Cross and many others involving thousand of jobs. Mr. Galloway has led a host of site selection projects over the past 20 years for clients such as New York Life, Colgate Palmolive, Coltec Industries, Columbia Energy, Pearson Publishing, Ohio Casualty, Computer Horizons, Dow Chemical, Atlanta Pharma, GreenPoint Bank, One Beacon, Lucent Technologies, AT&T, and many others.

Mr. Galloway headed up MS&B's marketing efforts when the firm teamed with Fortune Magazine to develop the famous "Best Places to do Business" annual issue that ran for eight years and fostered the many "best" lists magazine issues so prevalent today.

Other Professional Experience
Mr. Galloway worked for American Express Company for 16 years in several marketing and sales capacities. He also headed the company's worldwide network of over 1,000 licensed Travel Service offices for a period of five years. He was also employed by M.W. Kellogg as a project materials expeditor for several major chemical processing plant construction projects.

Thomas Hamer, MS&B Principal (Chicago, Illinois)

John RhodesWith over twenty years of consulting experience, Mr. Hamer has been responsible for hundreds of location selection projects involving corporate operations for headquarters, customer service and support, sales, fulfillment, research and development, mainframe/servers, systems maintenance and development, distribution and manufacturing. He has worked for a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, electronics, finance, food processing, insurance, semiconductor, and pharmaceutical.

In addition to location selection, areas of expertise include location strategy planning, labor analysis, incentive negotiations and real estate analysis. Mr. Hamer is a licensed real estate broker.

Andrew Rhodes, MS&B Consultant (Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas)

John RhodesMr. Rhodes has provided support for company and community projects throughout Georgia, Florida, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Virginia.  His areas of expertise include data analysis and research activities as well as numerous support roles preparing community benchmark profiles and interfacing with community, company and organizational contacts.  Mr. Rhodes has conducted research studies regarding manufacturing trends within the fabricated metals, food processing, medical device, pharmaceutical and innovative plastics industries.

Other Professional Experience
Prior to joining the MS&B team, Mr. Rhodes served as a product applications specialist working for clients within the transportation (marine, car, bus & truck), specialty manufacturing (telecommuncations, military security products and information) and printing industries.  Other project areas include consumer insight studies for retail operations and operation improvement studies for public/private organizations.
